This will clear and clean a blocked print head
This product cleared the print heads of my Canon Pixma IP6150. I just wish I had bought it sooner because repeated printing and purging while one of the nozzles was blocked must have damaged the print circuitry resulting in it no longer firing ink on that colour channel. Also beware every time you run the printer's own cleaning system it just dumps ink into the bowels of your printer instead of having a waste tank that can be emptied. My conclusion to all this is when you buy a printer also buy this type of unblocker at the same time and consider using it on the print head if you've not used the printer for a while. It's cheaper than having to buy a new printer when the head gets clogged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple and easy to use instructions could be better
There were problems with the instructions ,on my epson getting the collecting pad underneath the print head was impossible but was solved by change in the method now very easy . I Was unable to recharge the print head no matter where i looked for instructions .,however i solved this the easy way I used the un blocker syringe and tube with printer ink using the same amount of ink as the un blocker fluid . now all works fine . Printhead cleaner doesn't always solve the problem
The cleaning fluid does flush the ink pads ok BUT On epson printers I've discovered there is a software counter device that limits the number of operations the printer carries out using the nozzles. It's a sort of built in obsolete device that comes up with the message ink pads at the end of service life.there is a fix for this but only for windows pc's not Apple Mac. The printer will not operate if you do not reset the counter even if the ink pads are perfect and the nozzles unblocked. The adaptors supplied with the kit would not fit my printer which is an Epson xp-605 but to be fair the supplier did not list this particular printer in his specifications. I'm a bit disappointed with Epson for building in an obsoletion software device with the obvious intent to get you to buy a new printer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok for small blockages
I bought this to clear a print head on an Epson printer, I decided to remove the print head first so I could get to the ink ports easily, it cleared the blockage I had on the black easily enough but the yellow would not clear no matter how many times I went through the process, I even left the seringe with fluid attached for 4 days but it did not clear or soften the blockage. Does the job
Does the job, I think. Takes patience which doesn't come with the kit. Suggest to get one of these and use before inserting new ink cartridges when the ink has run dry for a while. A quick and easy way to get your printer working again
I was sceptical when I bought this but as the large black cartridge was no longer printing, I was thinking that my printer might have broken. After running five cleaning cycles on my printer - I took a quick look online and read that you should only use the Canon software twice in a row. If you do it too many times, you will flood the printer and cause damage. As the print head was blocked - I needed a way to clean it. This kit includes everything you need - fluid, syringe, plastic adapters that fit onto the print heads, gloves, cotton buds and kitchen towel folded to fit the printer. I looked on YouTube to see how easy it was to use. I put the kitchen towel in place, filled the syringe with 2ml of fluid, fitted the plastic flexible adapter to the syringe and printer head and then squirted the cleaner on. After repeating this process, the printer nozzle unblocker had worked really well. I was able to print right away and one week later, the printer is working fine. I'd definitely recommend this product if any of your cartridges are no longer printing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Print Head Cleaner
Nice kit to do the job, even provide disposable gloves. I used it to clean a Canon Pixma 5650 print head which seemed to work okay. However, when I refitted the head I got an error message stating that it was the wrong head! Be cautious buying these kits - especially for Epson R300
The company selling this product are fantastic, they provided a great level of customer support. Unfortunately after using this cleaning solution on my Epson R300 it refused to output anything. In fact the one nozzle I didn’t clean is the only one working. It is almost like after using the solution my printer refuses to draw the ink from the cartridge. I’m sure these kits work - but for me it didn’t and I’ve spent almost a week, purchased over 24 inks - trying to solve the problem. Arrive quick but a bit heath robinson
