Doubt replaced with amazement!
Automatic transmission judder problem addressed for less than £30. I thought it was worth a try after reading customer feedback but you don't expect miracles. So far, the transmission is vastly smoother on gentle acceleration. The problem was much less when driven hard but slight uphill load would set it off. It's now much smoother. After a couple of hundred miles it has got better still. It may only buy time before repairs are needed but other users report long lasting effect in the same vehicle as mine, a Range Rover Sport TDV8. Absolutely brilliant stuff! The autobox had a very nasty vibration, which was impossible to drive through or ignore.I put one tube of Dr. Tranny in and over a very few miles the vibration faded. A money saving remedy to the dreaded SHUDDER.
Right folks, I understand it is not a permanent repair to the dreaded Freelander 2 TQ SHUDDER, and may in time increase further wear, due to the plates slipping, but what a relief to get rid of that Shudder at 1500 revs for now. Who knows it may cure it for good, the vehicle is not mistreated, so with a bit of luck it will go on for many more miles. I purchased two and used just one, did the job within 20 miles. Never expected such a rapid result or change in the gear changing function to be so smooth. Fixed my issue right away

Surprisingly, it works well!
I was very dubious about this until the automatic gearbox specialist recommended it as a temporary (20,000 mile) fix for the juddering gearbox in my Freelander 2. Apparently the problem is caused by glazed clutch plates in the torque converter. Well, I changed the oil and added Lubegard and all I can say is the juddering has gone! To be honest I was skeptical about this product however I am quite amazed how well it worked. The automatic gearbox was juddering and jumping between gears.
