No drilling APU / Heater fuel connection
I Installed this in 5 min. Looped fuel line between pickups 1 & 2 until APU installed. Easy to insert into my tank. Pros: *NO DRILLING! needed to connect an APU or Webasto / Eberspacher / Espar type diesel-fired bunk heater or other fuel connection to fuel tank. *Works on all fuel types *Easy screw in where existing roll-over vent located *Existing vent screws into top of pickup, no new vent purchase required *2 fuel pickups & 1 return fitting & extra plug included *2 fuel pickup tubes welded together, easy to cut to length if too long *No metal shavings in bottom of fuel tank *Does not weep fuel around the fitting if installed properly like the drill type pickups do. Use pipe sealant for added safety *SAFE for roll-over, vent angle is the same and acts exactly like factory vent if tank is tipped on side or over *Better than factory position when topping off tank. Not for all trucks...
This pickup tube can not be used on Freightliner trucks because of clearance between fuel tank and cab floor. No way to put this pickup tube into fuel tanks. Portion of metal tubes must be made from flexible rubber/plastic .. or you will need to cut about 5-8 inches from bottom or lose fuel tank and turn it .. Don't buy it if you Have Freightliner Cascadia...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
