not close to Metz original batter for recycle time or capacity
I have used a metz 60CT- 4 for years, even before digital, the Original batteries worked well at full power for many shots. recycle time is a 3-6 seconds. This battery is not even close to that. After two shots at full power I have to wait 20-60 seconds for the light to even come back on and even then with the next shot it may not fire. I use it for large groups outside and team pictures on sunny days. Very disappointing., It may have some use at 1/2 power but then I might as well use a may Cannon flash and not have to carry the weight.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A really good replacement battery for the 60CT series!
Much lighter than the original Sonnenschein lead-acid battery, this battery comes complete with a charger designed specifcally for the battery and works well in my 60CT-4, which I bought in the Eighties. Recycle time for all auto and TTL flash modes is about the same as with the original lead-acid battery and for all normal photographic purposes you get the same number of flash shots per charge. In manual mode at full power, the first two flashes recycle quickly but then recharge time becomes quite a bit longer due to the higher energy density of lead-acid vs Li-Po batteries. But to be honest, in 35 years of 35mm and digital photography I've very rarely had to use multiple flashes at full power and this Li-Po battery allows me to use a superb flashgun once again!
