If you bag your clippings and plan on keeping your mower, grab one of these units while they still are available!
Replaces the worn out grass catcher bag perfectly because It is an original equipment part. This kit also includes a new chute and mower to grass catcher bag support rod for those that did not purchase the grass catcher with their mower. I have read other reviews stating that the discharge chute does not connect securely. This has not been the case for me in my 15 years of ownership of this mower. I am guessing that those who say that it doesn't attach well have not figured out how to insert/align the top of the chute in the mower so that it "catches" behind the lip on the mower deck and then makes contact with the lower mower deck. If done correctly, the tension put on the installed unit by the spring in the mower deck mulching door holds everything securely. I hope that this part will be available for purchase in the future (15 plus years from now) or I might have to buy a whole new mower.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
