    Doesn't work on vinyl siding

It doesn't remove fresh rust stains from vinyl siding. I power washed my house and it was clean. As it was drying water would run out from the siding in some areas and caused rust streaks the next day. These were not there prior to washing the siding. I tried this product and it did nothing to clean it off..I tried a few different application methods and nothing worked.

  • Look no Further for rust removal chemicals.

I live in Florida and water my yard every morning. It used to be on city water and my water bill was up to 42,000 gallons a month at over 300$ per month. I paid several grand to dig a well a number of years ago and water daily for nothing except the price of the electricity for the well pump. Anyway the yard looks great but the sidewalk and the driveway and road were a mesh. Used to buy Rust Aide which worked great but that went into hiding several years ago...maybe 4 or so. I have tried diluted Muriac acid which was terrible and destroyed two sprayers, one a very high end back sprayer. Went to Home Depot...nothing. Searched Walmart and wanted 21$ a gallon to ship. Negative on that. The internet Walmart site said they had it and I went there to find little cans of Goof Off. I said I say them on the internet at this store!! after a wasted several hours on looked on line and for a reasonable price i got 12 gallons for under 90$. shipped and received in sev days. Works great. Kills grass big time. I have asthma and it is hell on your lungs so stay upwind of the fumes. One needs to go over the same spot sev times but my rust was big time thick of 2 years worth. I even got them a customer as I was spraying my sidewalk. "excuse me sir but is that chemical you are spraying on the rust stain?" "Yes it sure is and it works great!" proceeded to cut the label of one of the plastic gallons and give it to her. A future satisfied customer in the making! really and truly the stuff works great!

  • Magic rust remover

My shed was so rusty that I was going to tear it down and build a new one. After two coatings of this stuff, 100% of the rust was gone. Very easy to use, but make sure you read the instructions. Wear hand and breathing protection.

  • This product works especially well removing rust from vinyl siding. It also works on concrete without etching the surface.

I use this full strength and wear rubber gloves. There is a slight odor but not overwhelming.

  • Works Well at a Fair Price

Works surprisingly well at removing rust stains from vinyl fencing, concrete from secondary irrigation containing high levels of iron. Just spray it on and watch the stains fade away, no scrubbing needed.

  • Better than expected

Rust stains on fiberglass boats are a challenge. RustAid did an excellent job dealing with them.

  • Didn't work on iron stains from fertilizer

Sprayed twice consecutively on mineral/iron deposits from water and fertilizer run off. Did not notice any improvement on side walk. Can not recommend this product. A waste of time and money.

  • Wrong product for application

Hoped it would remove rust colored stain on concrete caused by baking soda / battery acid (was cleaning battery terminals and hosed off connectors). Goof Off Rust Stain Remover didn't touch the stain. Finally used vinegar and some scrubbing to get stain off.

  • Excellent product.

Anyone wanting to clean a rust stain from their concrete driveway needs to know about this product. Cleaning could not be easier. Just spray it on and watch it disappear. No scrubbing, no waiting,
