Takeya Cold Brew Maker
I brewed cold coffee for years with one of the larger units. Loved the coffee from it. Would brew 2 liters of coffee concentrate overnight. I would get 6 liters of rich coffee from it and would brew basically once a week. Downsizing had me looking for a smaller unit to brew with. I chose this one because it looked like one of the best of the smaller options and had two pitchers for brewing and storage. It works as advertised, for the most part. Obviously, the quantity is less than I was used to because of the physical size but also the cold brew concentrate is less concentrated than I care for. I’m only getting a 2:1 dilution for the finished product instead of the 3:1 or 4:1 ratio I prefer. This leads to a constant, everyday brew cycle. Not optimal, at least for me. I believe the difference is because the grounds are too contained in the strainer basket with less “interaction” with the water during the brew cycle. Haven’t attempted it yet but I believe this will do a fantastic job on brewing tea. Can I say it leaves me a little cold on its coffee brewing for my taste?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as advertised
It only came with one brewer. The other is just a container. Pretty disappointed about that. Had I known I would have ordered two separate ones for my girlfriend and I. Now I have one and a pitcher I don’t really need. I could buy a filter but I don’t want two have to spend even more money on this. Besides that the brewer works great plenty of reviews on it out there. If you’re looking for two buy them separate! Also the customer support was absolutely terrible. They didn’t get back to me until after I left a bad review. Which I gave them ample time to respond. Then don’t want to fix said issues unless I give them a better review. Steer clear. Nice way to cold brew coffee.
It's great to have two pitchers so you can start a new batch before completely drinking the current batch. That's important because cold brewing takes 12-24 hours. The seal on the pitchers is great; I've knocked over one on the counter with no leakage. The pitchers fit easily in refrigerator door shelves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Overall nice for cold brew coffee. I always got a pitcher ready.
