Good replacement part
My Volvo key had developed the “floppy blade” problem, where the key blade would not lock in or out. This kit solved the problem effectively. My only slight criticism would be that there are not any instructions supplied; the job is easy enough to do, but it takes some trial and error to get the spring tension set and to work out how to dismantle the old key fob without damaging anything. The vitally important transponder chip lives in the top part of the fob, next to the blade hinge, and could be damaged if care is not taken when splitting the old unit, so great care is needed. Overall, I would recommend this repair kit; it is very reasonably priced and does the job well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bring your old key fobs back to life.
Key fob is easy to fit but the old keys I did seemed to have the top part of the fob glued together when splitting it make sure not to damage the chip whitch is 12mm to the right of the chrome button.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
