keyboard loses connection
I had read reviews previously about these docks. There is a common issue with older versions disconnecting with the tablet often just from moving it, and this ended up being one of the ones with this issue unfortunately.
If I keep the tablet bent greater than 90 degrees it seems to keep a more stable connection, but this is pretty inconvenient sometimes especially if trying to access a flash drive plugged into the usb port and then decide to move the tablet at all. For the price I paid for refurbished it is something I am willing to put up with compared to spend 3 times the cost for a new one, but I would not recommend a refurb if you are wanting something reliable. I had the tablet closed and plugged into charger and thought it was charging. Keyboard charged, but tablet was not connected during that time and so did not get the charge. Just so many annoyances with that docking port.
As far as the keyboard itself it has a nice feel though my TF700t's aluminum dock feels a lot more valuable and heavy duty than this plastic dock. The finish on the plastic does give it a nice texture though. They keys are responsive, battery gives you that extra few hours of on the go and the usb port is fast at usb 3.0 speeds.
I just wish it would keep a solid connection like the TF700t and its dock did.
