Great for hooking up low to medium power devices to a car battery.
I really like these connectors for hooking up electronics that need a really clean 12VDC supply and I use a portable (although heavy!) car battery for them. I have several of these connectors now for various equipment, and I think they're the best ones for low to medium power at a very good price. The springs are just right for the purpose, and they make good contact whether directly onto the battery terminal or onto a traditional battery clamp. They have strain relief prongs on both arms of the clip so you could solder and clamp a cable to each arm if you wanted to, but if I wanted mega-amps for jump-starting a car I think I'd use a more substantial clip - for anything less demanding than that I think they're super :o)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
