It didn't rub me up the wrong way
This product is what I expected! To be honest, there is very little Pentel can do to make a different product that does the same thing, The device has it's problems - moving the rubber up in the metal frame when it has worn down is a bit of a pain- but the rubber works well with pentel leads. Pentel Erasers that fit and work.
What more can one say! They are perfect for for Pentel propelling pencils and the other brands that I have (but not all). They work very well, in that the type of technical drawing I do it enables me to erase a very small area without disrupting the rest of the drawing. Nothing wrong with my Pentel clutch pencil, apart from the eraser being worn right down. Tried pulling it forward but in the end the metal holder had nothing left to grip on. These eraser's will last for many years to come. They do not come with the metal "spike" (used to free a jammed lead/clean the pencil end tube) but it's no problem to transfer this to the new eraser simply by pushing it into the eraser end by the metal holder.
