This does what it says on the tin. I had a mechanical operated gun before this which was OK on soft wood but this pneumatic upgrade is worth every penny. Buy the correct type 80 staples for this particular model (None provided in the box) and the smooth action with no fuss and ease of operation makes stapling into hard plastics and hardwood a breeze. I set my compressor to 100psi and it stapled perfectly with no raised heads or indentations in the material. It comes with lube oil but be careful because once you have opened the bottle it can no longer be stored in the carry case without spilling everywhere. There is a storage space for it but useless once the bottle has been opened. There is no storage for staples in the carry case which is a shame but using a small plastic sealed bag with two strips of staples overcomes this.
