Lentec just became my go to manufacturer for turntables.
I bought this for a bargain price as an upgrade to my Bush turntable which got me back into vinyl after years of being digital. What a difference it has made, the sound quality is amazing. I haven't used it for USB transfer, just as a standalone player through my Panasonic UX100 aux input which is all it's likely to be used for. The difference between the two is fullness of sound, this turntable is allowing me to hear all the different instruments as they are intended to be heard even at low volumes. The bass is richer and fuller and the trebles and mid range somehow clearer and cleaner, I may not be very good at describing how much better it is but if you're moving up from one of the more generic turntables that everyone seems to be selling then this is a very good choice in my opinion. I totally agree with another review that it may not please the vinyl/audiophile snobs but I doubt you'll find anything close to this unit at this price, even double, maybe even triple.
