A little disappointed
I have not used the rod yet but testing the rod bend and backbone I'm glad I bought the medium and not the MH action. The aluminum sleeve that encases the graphite cinching nut broke loose the first time I tightened a reel to the rod. It is just glued together and apparently done so improperly. I'll fix it myself as it is not worth the effort to return. The rod itself seems to be of good quality. Missed the mark on this one
The rod sections do not seem to fit together correctly. There is about 3/4" gap where the unfinished connector shows at each connection. Seems like it is poorly designed for that reason. Also, the case is bulky and oversized. I have a smaller Ardito spinning rod which I love, but they missed the mark on this surf rod. Returned it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
