very UV protective but a couple of issues
This is made of a dense material and I feel that I am well protected from the light. And the black is underneath helping prevent reflected light [I am photosensitive] I'm not sure what the wind resistence means - this umbrella has turned inside out a couple of times - but not broken. Because it folds up small it is quite hard to pack up - and impossible to get back into it's little bag. Maybe a silicon strap and button would work better. Something slightly wider than it has now. If you want something to protect you from light that fits in a bag, then I recommend this umbrella. I hope it will deal well with wind....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
Medium quality, metal rods are a bit thin, but its lightweight handbag size and does cast deep shade. Handle is small for prolonged use but it has several heights, which is really handy to have.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
