Decent tuner with a great design idea.
This is a pretty good tuner, depending on where are using it. I bought it specifically for use on an acoustic that I take busking, as I loved the idea that it is unobtrusively mounted to a tuning peg; stroke of brilliance there! Unfortunately, it does not work in this application, as it is simply not bright enough to read outdoors. I have no problem tuning by ear but thought it would be nice to have a tuner on hand anyway- and sometimes I like to do open-tuned Zeppelin songs so having a good tuner just speeds things up a bit. I've got a couple of clip-on tuners, but like to have them in the house on other guitars, so the D'Addario would have been perfect. I'm going to put it on my Paul Reed Smith instead, as their headstocks can be kind of wonky to put other clip-on tuners on.
The D'Addario tuner works fine, and is pretty accurate, so no problem there.
