Gliding to a decent knee bend!!
There is no doubt that this is not a cheap product, but one has to weigh up the benefit of this product against the angst that can be caused by knee replacment surgery. The knee glider is very easy to use and allows the knee to move back and forth without exerting too much extra energy. Of course, to get the benefit it has to be used regularly and it would also be wise to ask your doctor/consultant/nurse about its use to get the full benefits from it. Having said that, it comes with a leaflet that has useful exercises demonstrated on it. The other thing to bear in mind that it may take some time to arrive and you may have to add to the cost by paying VAT if you are a UK recipient. There are better made Easter to use 2 footed ones on the market for £129 at Argos and amazon
I found a electric motorized one for 2 feet not one with an adjustable speed which helps you much more than this does As the Argos and Amazon ones are motorized and require no effort from you I wish I had seen it before I purchased this one This one is disappointing as there are no rollers and it’s just the plastic sliding on the alloy bottom track I have to persevere with it now but not realy happy with it and it’s definitely not value for money. Knee glider
This price of exercise equipment in my opinion is really worthwhile. I am waiting for knee surgery and have a spacer in That knee right now, which keeps me from bending, but while standing with my walker l can move my whole leg back and forth keeping my muscles stronger in my leg. I use it sitting for my other knee, and can bend it farther than before. it is something you can do while watching a movie. It is a good little machine that takes up no space. Thanks Bob and Brad. I wish I had had this product early on in my TKA. With so many months behind me, it now a catch up game as scar tissue has been winning, But this device does make therapy for ROM so much easier. Seems to do what it says on the tin, but still discovering
I first saw this on Bob and Brad's YouTube channel as an aid to a failing knee joint, particularly for pre & post knee replacement operations. I bought it as a gift; my initial feedback is that it seems to be helping. The unit is well constructed out of aluminium, so it is light and strong.
