still a good item for the toolbox
Purchased the item to help to rebuild a Vauxhall cylinder head.I had 3 different valve spring compressors but none would allow you to use the collet installer because the tool has to be completely in line with the valve to work which is quite impossible. The collet installer tool worked on ohv heads ,ford crossflow.Austin mini,land rover defender 90 so it still will be of great use to me.If you purchase this item to work on ohc heads with deep seated valve springs please be aware that you might need a specialist valve spring compressor to use it.

Good little tool
Really agile and study in its make the magnet could be stronger but overall got the job done , keepers did not hold on but did not lose them , nice little tool for your kit

Too weak spring too thin jaws
It was long enough to get a collet into a recessed valve.. the jaws were too thin the springs were too weak.
