Great set of pullers
Bought and used to remove trailer hubs. They worked a treat. The claw bolts were a little tight but after being loosened a little it was perfect. Not great quality
The particular set I bought was A poor quality product. The threads on the pullers were not correctly formed, which gives them sharp edges and reduced load capacity. The puller hags we’re poorly linished/fettled having gouges in areas of high load, thinning the legs and doubtless resulted in reduced load capacity. A puller has a lot of load on it just before the two pieces part and I didn’t fancy trusting my safety to this product. Very reasonable price. The quality of manufacture will reveal itself after a while of use. Not the very highest, but brightly plated, including over the threads whilst still assembled, which made the first attempts fairly difficult. . A use only once option.
Bought this to remove an item i knew was not terribly difficult to get off, Found it to be rather tricky as the legs kept slipping off, the bolts and nuts that hold the legs together are two different sizes, and was generally supposed to be a five minute (at worst) job turned out to be a 45 min ordeal. Report on gear pullers
These units are robustly made but needed the pivot screws loosening so they work freely. Also one off the feet needed trimming to remove a casting blemish. The main threads were rather dry and needed some lubricating grease.
