A great produt
Don’t expect this cooler to be like air conditioning because it isn’t but it’s much better than a fan and was very efficient during the 38 degrees in August. The ice blocks certainly make a difference and we also filled the tray with ice water for an even a cooler fan. The blades can oscillate or remain static. When its on high you can hear some whirring but normally the tv or some other noise is on during the day so not a problem but at night we had it on low and it was fine. There are 3 speeds and a remote control and on wheels for easy movement. Really pleased with it, a lot cheaper than air conditioners and without the necessity for extractors. Would prefer it 2 be more powerful and cooler
Have to add ice and change the cooler packs quite regularly to maintain a really cool breeze but apart from that does as advertised and better than a fan that just re circulates the same dry hot air... Actually managed 2 get 2 sleep 4 a few hours during the day today after 3 days of being unable 2 sleep during the day during this heat wave as I work nights... Feels even better now in the evening.... Definitely works better when the heat isn't 2 extreme... Small but great for small room
This is a small and compact air cooler with a handy remote. It does produce cool air but it's effectiveness depends on surrounding humidity. If it's on in a room with the windows closed then eventually it will get more humid and you will feel hotter so it's best placed with rear facing an opened window for best coolness. Its quiet enough on low setting to sleep with a handy timer to turn off by it's self. It has 3 modes of which iv only ever used 1 which is a constant on mode where as the other 2 modes just keeps turning the fan on and off to simulate wind noise outside but its more annoying and disturbs your sleep. The rear reservoir for water does not fully come out which can be annoying if you want to replace water with fresh cooler water so you have to take the whole cooler to the sink but it's light enough to do that. Having used this continuously for 2 weeks in an environment where humidity typically ranges from 50% to 65% iv found that it will NOT cool even a small room BUT while Sat and having the fan blow at you its very refreshing and cool and better than a normal fan. Would recommend as a replacement of a normal fan to give cooler air to blow at you but I would get a much more bigger and powerful air cooler if you want to cooler a room.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Perfect air cooler for me
Arrived quickly and properly packaged. Looks and works fine. Don't expect it to be as cold as air conditioning but it cools down my room with the ice and cold water function. It's pretty nice in terms of design and light weight. Much much better than ordinary FAN. Its not noisy you can sleep very well with it on. Very nice product.

At first I was a bit sceptical about these products after using it for a few days and once got used to a little bit it wasn’t too bad of a little unit it definitely gives you slightly cooler air but that’s only is good as cold you can get the water going through it seem to struggle yesterday in this extreme heat but overall it definitely gave you a cooler feel that a fan. It doesn’t cool the room. The air that comes out on cooling mode is not enough to make the temperature of a small room cooler.
