A great product
Thank you puremate, after 20 years of cleaning buying endless amounts of dettol mold spray, sitting in my apartment that was warm but felt like a steam room, I bought your product with sceptism but after 24hours oh my god my apartment feels fresh and condensation free kitchen bathroom bedroom feels so good. I cleaned up before I used the machine and painted my walls with mold paint covered up repainted them. Put the machine on and today my apartment feels fresh and so happy with my puremate. Buy this product from puremate you will not regret it. Yes there are other more expensive products on the market but believe me save 150 pounds and buy this. Works fine but noisy
Pros - Machine works as it should be and collect water in its specifications to my experience. I didn't measure though. Cons - This machine is noisy in high or low fan speeds comparing to similar size of machine hence 3 stars. I have to buy another machine due to unbearable vibration noise. Perfect Dehumidifier
It's perfect for rooms with high humidity! In one hour, you will see water in tank already if you check! The auto stop function works when tank is full! You get rid of the water on windows and walls, even in bathroom after you take a shower! It has function to dry clothes which is good! I read bad reviews on other expensive products and chose this one instead!

Value for money
I use it as a dehumidifier only and have not tried out the air purifier part yet. it is compact and easy to use. A little bit heavy for my wife and she reckons the wheels are a little small and drag on the carpet. When emptying it, the container is a little awkward to hold and the lip sometimes catches on the inside, but with practise I find it is ok , a proper handle for the bin would have been a nice touch. I am very pleased - it does what it says
You ask if it boils water quality so my answer was no. As far as I know de-humidifiers are not intended for boiling water. So as far as de-humidifying goes it is brilliant. Has made such a difference in my Scottish Cottage which is left empty for long periods and used to smell damp on our arrival. I have no complaints about this product, except that the reservoir holds such little water. If you can plumb the thing in, I would urge anyone to do so.
