Best bike light ever!
This is our second set of CygoLite lights. We wore out the first set we got several years ago. These new ones have additional features that make them even better than before. solid, rechargeable. crazy bright light!
I really like that the bracket is the same as the 500 Lumen Cygolite that I'm upgrading from, so I can have a backup but don't need an extra bracket. Since I already have a Cygolite, this is intuitve and easy to use, although sometimes if I haven't ridden for a while I forget which way to pull the light to get it off of the bracket. Light weight. Bright light. Excellent optics. Amazing for the price.
I've owned four Cygolights over the past five or six years. They have all been reliable and nearly indestructible. I think they are among the best in the industry. My first was 300 lumens. A couple years later I bought a 500, then an 600. This 1100 the best yet. It throws a nice beam without any hotspots. I do have one complaint though: Nine lighting choices is more than I need. I wouldn't mind so much If there was a quick, easy and sure-fire way to find the setting that I want. But no, you have to press the button repeatedly until you find the setting you are looking for. If you go past it, you have to press eight more times until you get back to where you want to be. Once set, though, the light is superb. I've done several night rides that lasted a little over an hour, and with the light on high, it never faded. One other thing that might worry some people: this one does not have a removable battery. But for the price, If I needed longer run times, I'd probably buy a second light and run the two of them on medium brightness. One other thought, if you're debating about how much money to spend, I'd suggest you get the brightest light that you can afford. You won't regret it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I like this like very much. It has very bright light almost blinding. There are several modes and settings which are more than enough. I usually only use the lowest setting to have longer battery life. The mount is very good and is finger tightened. There is also the 1150 but its overkill. Almost too bright if that is possible.
Bought this for my wife on her bike to work days as the daylight is getting shorter and shorter. The mornings are quite dark when they meet, and this light works great on its lowest setting in her group rides. You might go as far as using the next brightness setting if by oneself, but that is a maybe. I have no clue when you’d need the boost. Charged easily, and the rain/dust cover on the charging port seems adequate, but not robust. It’s been a few rides and no issues at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great light for everyday usage
Things I like: - Uses a micro USB for charging (finally!), one fewer cable standard to worry about - Supports fast charging - Bright even at low setting One thing I worried about this light was whether 9 modes are way too many modes, especially knowing that this light does not have a memory function where it automatically resumes to the last setting used. Well, it turns out that day modes and night modes are completely separated. By default, pressing the power button gets you to the "night mode". It goes Low - Medium - High - SteadyPulse. You have to repeatedly press power button twice to get to the Boost mode. With the light off, pressing the power button for 2 seconds will get you to the "day mode" that cycles through DayLightning, Triple Flash, Zoom, and Walking. I find myself just using Low and Medium most of the time. One thing to note: you should really aim the light down, otherwise you can easily end up blinding oncoming traffic with light this bright.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Light Your Way With This Light!

Great light pattern
I've used several different lights over the years to light the roadway on my early morning bike rides. Usually moving at 20mph , I needed a good light pattern to see road hazards and debris and also BE seen. I use this mostly to commute on bike paths since the time has changed. I rarely need to put it on the highest output setting. It has an excellent flash mode. And that has lasted more than two hours on the medium setting. It’s almost as bright as one of my four LED mountain bike lights!
