Small and neat
Nice small unit and comes fully fitted with 3 MCBs. Easy to wire and great for the garage as you can have a ring, lighting and heating on separate mcbs. Perfect for the job
Robust case, quite thick steel, certainly able to handle the sort of knocks it might get in a garage/shed environment. There are two knock out blanking plates in the top and two in the bottom. (For some reason, one at each end is 25mm, the other is 22mm requiring two sizes of grommet.) Also included was a pair of blanking plates (in case you weren't using all three trips) and a sheet of self adhesive labels to show what each trip was for. Great value consumer unit. Plenty of space for cabling inside, everything seems solid and well made. Threads for bolts formed properly. The only possible, VERY slight, criticism would be the punch-outs were particularly hard to remove, with the box itself distorting, and I end up just using my holesaw to cut them out! Mini metal consumer unit
If your looking for a compact C.U then look no further it has every thing you need. Its a great compact design comes with all relevant stickers and spare parts, has a strong robust metal case looks good too. Only draw back and fault i can find is the 2 very poor front fascia screws that locate the front panel to the case these are not self tapping and strip easily, requiring me to seek a replacement to make a repair so the front panel is held secure.
