We Purchased them for a 12 Volt House, we bought 6 of them.
they are a 49 watt out put direct fan, with 3 speeds, low is 25 watts output, Medium is 37 Watts, and High, is the full 49 watts, Now the fan comes with a cigarette plug on it, we cut it off, an make into a much longer leads on them to move them around the house as such, an Anderson Plugs on them. Now the fan is very powerful force of air, so thus like it's name says, cool Breeze, if the air is cool, you get a breeze happening with one of these. But as you turn it up, We found them to get noisier, So What we have done recently, up high in the corner of the rooms, we stripped the black plastic housing off the front and back, It quieted it down by 2/3's of the noise, an the fan only blows straight now, this fan needs to be out of the way of small children, when you remove the casing though. Ripper Fan!
This is a great RV fan. 3 settings really make a big difference to the getting decent airflow through my bus. Not too noisy either. I had another fan similar to this but it had a metal join for the electric cable, which snapped when packed away - this model will never have the same problem. Reasonable quality, good price
This fan works as you would expect. We got it for the caravan and it is as described. It does cool us as expected we are very happy with it. Fan technology has not changed for years, they are very simple devices, you should not expect any problems with any of them. Although no device for moving air is silent, I wonder when they can design a quieter one. Even fans much dearer than this are no quieter. 12v fan for caravan
I ordered the fan on Monday and it arrived Wednesday!!! Very happy. It's bigger than I expected but I wanted to have lots of cool air in the van when we travel in summer. I just hope the noise level is ok for sleeping.
