Good for the money
I dont believe at all that this is the equivalent of 2000w lights..next to one 1000w light hps plants leaves turn towards 1000w. Plants do like it, i would say at most this light would be appropriate for a 2x2 area. As supplemental light it is effectively lowering time i use hid lighting. So in review if you are looking to lower electric costs from hid lights and heating/cooling i would recommend using this light one third of light cycle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good lamp for a small grow tent or room, easy to install and use
Great unit, compact, bright. Plants are soaking it up. Comes with everything you need to hang it in a grow room. There are two mini carabiner clips that are low quality. One of mine broke as I was hanging it. Product lost a star because that is a critical part, it should be tougher. Get some good quality mini carabiners to make this a great buy.

Great Light.
I have bought a total of 4 of these lights so far. Had them for a 2 months so for. They put off a good amount of light. My pepper plants have grown faster than all of my outside plants under these lights. Plus they keep the small room I keep my plants in warm enough so I don't have keep a heater in there(pro for me, may be a con for some). The fans are not very loud and also help with air movement in my little grow room. Have a nice hanging bracket/hooks makes it easy to balance the light. I do wish the power cord was just a bit longer. I'm pretty sure they are 5' long. Not really to much of a problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

These lights are amazing
My plants responded to the one 1000 watt LED I bought that I had to purchase two more this time. Running 3400 watts and it draws little power. Plants are turning a very very dark green and growing at a rapid rate. I see more development out of the plants from this light then I did using hps/mh lights !!
