Serves it’s purpose
I wouldn’t rely on this to give dead accurate mph readings, but it works well enough on a relative scale for some purposes. I use it to measure progress in increasing golf swing speed, and it gives consistent readings from session to session, even if they aren’t precisely correct. I say this because I can get different readings depending on where the device is positioned, but once positioned, it will give consistent readings. Bought this after pro golfer Padraig Harrington recommended something to monitor your swi g speed (he owns one and said it works) and after reading multiple reviews. I don't know if the speed number it reports is accurate but the numbers are relative to itself, so I can accurately judge if my swing speed is faster or slower, and that's all I really wanted it to do.
