Not hue white & color ambiance bulb
Cons: Very expensive not to include hue white & color ambiance. That statement is correct, these are not. Seems like they should be based on their price. Very Well Constructed
I recently had purchased a hub and a dozen white bulbs. They work well but not as bright as the bulbs they replaced. I then bought a couple of the hue bloom bulbs to toss into the mix. They work well and do add some color to the background but at the current price point i'm not really felling the love. There realistically are in the 50 dollar range each and I needed 4 to a room for any real dramatic effect. They have a great app and color range but again it is about the overall brightness. If a setting indicates 'reading" I would expect that you could read by the light. Great idea but too dim at this point. Think of Tupperware split in half with a bulb and you have the overall design nothing earth shattering in design. If you are one of the hipsters that has a beard and flannel shirt but is unable to drive a stick shift or actually split firewood then this might be for you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not sure if this is brand new
I just got the bloom hue today and I am not sure if this is brand new as advertised. Looks to be used. The package wasnt sealed and the product was not even wrap. Does what it should

Hue Bloom Lights
They work very well for flooding an area with coloured light to either match or offset your other Hue elements. They require a Hue hub that is a separate purchase. On the original iPhone Hue software they work well with photo colours, but are not currently compatible with their light recipe tool which is a little annoying. There is a new Hue app (2 weeks old) that has just been released, but I haven't tried that one out yet. Note that the lights are made of ceramic rather than plastic, so if you have children around you may want to put them where they can't be knocked. A great product that fits well with the rest of the range and perfectly color matches with the other lights in their system.
