Time will tell!
This product has been recommended by BMW for years and is a third of the price of VW approved Krytox from DuPont chemicals. It appears on first use to be thinner but you do get a lot more. The sponge head is great for long lengths of cabrio roof seal but not so good for the smaller sections where you can’t get the bottle close enough, my answer is to decant some into the old Krytox bottle with the precision pointed snout. Works well.
I was recommended to use this on my convertible, with folding, retractable roof - so there were lots of rubber seals to treat. This product worked well in cleaning up the various rubber strips and leaving a fresh, more pliant seal. It probably contributed to curing a very slight water leak above the screen/hood joint. Not cheap, but you get lots of product for the money - I only used less than a quarter bottle for the whole car, (two door). Sometimes the applicator won't reach awkward slots in the rubber, but a soft cloth is an easy substitute.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An absolute must!
This stuff is fantastic. I had a leak at my front windows and read info on this stuff. Applied it to all the rubber/foam seals on the car (conv bmw) 2 coats, and was extremely pleased to find that not only did it visually revitalise the rubbers; redarkened them, all the leaks have stopped as the seals have plumped up and basically made better seals. This works great, especially on a convertible.
This is the second one I have bought, the first one lasted for ages. I use this on my Vauxhall Astra H Twintop, it stops the roof from squeaking.
