This is the third one I’ve had and I certainly punish them. The chuck is the first thing to fail which eventually loses the grip on drills. However, I understand that they are repairable if they are caught quick enough.

Excellent quality (as with all Makita products in this range). I already had the charger & batteries, so for the price, this was a no-brainer. My advice is don't waste your money on inferior products, this is rated for industrial use. I would highly recommend this drill to anyone, whether for diy use, or as a tradesman.
