Bought this to fit to an existing wheelchair. It was easy to fit. You do need to make sure it is properly aligned but it it's easy enough to do and the necessary tools are supplied. Once fitted it assists the user in pushing the wheelchair. On a straight and level surface it is powerful enough to power the chair on its own but you still need to push up the hills although it is much easier. Range seems to be more than adequate. It disconnects from the wheelchair easily and quickly so you can fold the wheelchair and Put it all in the boot for travel purposes. The unit is white heavy with the battery connected but the battery just velcro's to the motor so can be separated quickly for charging. Overall it does what it is supposed to do and I am happy with it

Appears to be good quality wheels, motor, battery and easy to fit the power drive to the base of the wheelchair. Problems fitting the operating lever controls to the handle of the wheelchair. Ours are quite short handles, so the bracket clamp stuck in the back shoulder of the person sitting in the wheelchair when fitted. I have git to get a bracket made up to overcome this, which will also need modifying the control lever. So be warned, not a universal fit for all wheelchairs.

Brilliant product - it has been a lifesaver for me, pushing my husband. It was easy to fit and the customer advice line was very good when I had a query.

This product is of very high engineering standards. It has been extremely well thought out for the fixing onto various wheel chairs. The motor as much as it is built around 12volt the extra umph that you get when given assistance when pushing a moderately heavy load up an incline is well worth the the lightness of the whole unit. The ability to disconnect the battery from the motor and collapse the chair for storage in the boot of the car with very minor time wast; two clips a strap and a couple of plugs what else could one hope for. The battery plug; this could do with a little more thought, quite fiddly to put together. Still not too difficult to assemble.
