Reference, ECHO battery powered string trimmer
Weighs too much, I'm '84 years old. A standard weight unit is OK for me.. Too long, a standard unit is OK for me. I'd like to have a standard electric battery unit that can use the .95 line. I originally saw this , but didn't take it off the shelf to see how long it was, and it probably didn't have the battery on it, I tried to return this unit , but return was only for first 4 days and I was about 8 days, so still have it and now trying to sell it somewhere at the price i paid which was $157-. I do not like the unit, I do like it's power. Too long and heavy for me, not for a younger stronger person. Need some help if possible. Thanks. Weeds Wrap around shaft and stop the whip.
It has great power, but longer grass and weeds wind up on the shaft and bind it so it stops prematurely. It is difficult to clean these wound weeds because the shield restricts access. I have one of these at my farm with 2- 4 ah batteries and I can trim all day..I needed one for our rental home so I purchased this one. A handy tool, does everything it's supposed to do.
I have an eleven thousand ft. lot with a lot of flower beds therefore a lot of trimming around them. I have only used the low setting so far and this has provided all the power I need. Liked it well enough to try a third time.
It cut grass very well for about 5 minutes. Then it would spin for a second only when I pressed the trigger. Saw online where pressing the battery charge level button would fix this problem, but it didn’t. Liked how it cut while it worked well enough to buy another. The second one didn’t ever even turn on.
