Great product.
Great product, two weeks running and so far all is well. When the solar panel is in full sun the air stone really produces a lot of bubbles, i am using mine to aerate the water butt and stop mosquito larvae, so far no mosquitoes so happy days. As soon as the solar panel is no longer in direct sun the air pump slows greatly and at night obviously doesn't work at all. Does the job for me. Fit and forget.
Seems to work really well. Bubbles away as long as there is daylight present. In direct sunlight there is strong air flow. The solar panel can be easily rotated to follow the path of the sun during the day to maintain highest output. Ideal for the small ornamental pond that I have sunk into the patio. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do
This little oxygenator worked straight out of the box, as soon as I connected the air hose to the solar panel and pump. It was working even better when the sun shone on the solar panel. It does not work when it is cloudy but having said that, the improvement in the condition of my pond is noticeable after a few days. My pond is small, only about two metres square. Perhaps larger ponds may need more than one oxygenator. I am very pleased with my purchase. Lots of bubbles, water boatmen, dragonfly larva, and newts. I had those before but they are healthier now.

Works even with cloud cover!
I have a couple of solar air pumps already and wanted another for a breeding container. Unlike the other pumps, this one even sends out a small stream of bubbles in low light, with quite thick cloud cover. Then when the sun hits, it bursts into life, much more powerful than the pumps I already have and a nice surprise. Works a treat
Ordered this product after reviews claimed it still works in cloudy weather. This is true, even when not in full sun a few bubbles are produced, one day it was still working in the rain. When the sun is out the pump works brilliantly, the goldfish like it too! Nice sturdy product. Works even when it is quite cloudy. Lots of lively little bubbles. It is very quiet which is a real plus. If you put the solar panel up on a cane it picks up more sun. Time will tell how long it lasts, my last one went for 18 months but it was out there continuously, even if it lasts just a year it is well worth the price...zero running costs!
