Bondaglass G4 Pond Sealer is ideal for waterpro ofing your pond. It is ideal for waterproofing ponds crafted from rendered brick. When using the black sealer, the first two coats must be G4 clear. This is because the G4 clear provides the maximum non-porous seal and adhesion.

    Did the job well.

    I bought this to seal a concrete birdbath and it has done the job well. 3 coats and birdbath sealed. It says the sealer is clear but leaves surface a golden honey colour. If using indoors make sure of good ventilation because it has a very strong smell.

    To seal a porous concrete water fountain.

    I had almost given up, tried all water resistant sealers on an area 0.25 sq mtr, even bituminous coatings - all failed. Discovered G4 when reading an article and was, even with the smallest 500ml quantity, surprised at the price - dearer than even the most expensive previous attempted remedies. Such a small area yet took over 2 hours in surface preparation to remove the hydrophilic silicones and the bitumen, and applied 3 coats allowing 2 hours between each coat as ambient temperature was around 12 deg C. Out of fear, I applied a 4th coat the following day and left to cure for 3 days and although I noted a small drip initially from the basin, this receded. To date, the fountain has retained the water and has not leaked whatsoever. Summary: despite the cost where I still have >50% of the ordered 500ml can, I am pleased/relieved it has been a success and would therefore recommend for similar applications.

    Good product that works

    Excellent waterproofer.

    I have used this product on a concrete bird bath and it has done exactly as I wanted and completely sealed the concrete thereby retaining the water. It was so simple to apply and dried quickly leaving a clear, waterproof coating. I have a couple of other projects in mind, and will buy again.

    Have not used it.

    Cannot honestly review this product as not used due to my fear for the fish, having to wait 72 hours before running the waterfall which it was purchased to repair. This means stopping the pump waiting for the waterfall to dry out , 2 good dry warm days, a day to apply the sealer, then 3 days for curing before washing down with water which will go into the pond. So I hope you can see my concerns.
