    Trout to crappie.

    I received the fishing buddy via UPS very quickly. After some minor assembly, I skimmed through the owners manual, added some batteries and turned it on. I think it's amazing. The display is clear and easy to read. The menu is a snap. It seems durable. I purchased it to switch between my jon boat and canoe. The only problem I've had so far is finding the time to use it but I feel confident in its functionality. I've had other Humminbird products in the past with no complaints and they made it easy to register on line.

    just okay for the money

    The unit does not come with a handle even though it shows one in the photo. I have not used it yet but it seems to be well built. It should have some sort of locking devise to secure the shaft into the mount. It can easily be pushed up and out of the mount by a rock or the bottom and be lost. Poor design

    Hummingbird Max DI

    Purchased the Max DI and received it four days early. I was able to power it up and go through the various menus to verify functionality. Very pleased with my purchase. It is not GPS compatible as some other fish finders are but not a necessity for my needs.
