Makita 2012 NBX
I purchased the Makita 2012 thicknesser after reluctantly selling my Hammer planer/thicknesser because of a need to downsize. Very pleased with the results so far and the build quality seems very good. It also takes up far less room - can actually be stored underneath the bench. I bought the compatible stand with it which again can be folded up against a wall when not in use. Although sturdy it seems a little on the low side when mounted on the stand.
