A well made tool at a fair price.

I bought this is a replacement for a similar compressor which just died on me. It appears to be identical apart from the name. It is a good tool for D.I.Y use as a tyre inflator,, spray gun and light tool use (stapler, yes, shears just about.) In other words a basic tool at a fair price. The handbook that came with it is for a different model but that was no problem to me because I had experience of the badge engineered earlier unit. It might be a problem for someone who had no experience of compressors. So. All in all a well-made tool at a fair price.

  • Handy bit of kit

This compressor really surprised me i ordered it just to power a 23 gauge pin nailer away from my workshop and it does it easily not only that as the reviews said it will power many other things including small HVLP spray gun air sander and 15 gauge brad nailer.Dont be mistaken it will not run a workshop or any big consumption tools for a log time but for limited mobile use its fantastic.Mine arrived within less than 24hrs of ordering and worked straight out of the box no problem .Yes the power cord is too short and i changed the air fitting to suit my type but its quiet and builds up quick truly amazing little compressor for less than £80 what more could you ask for.

  • Cheap manufacturing process equals hazardous equipment.

The fittings are held with cheap glue. After the second use I started hearing a hissing and the pressure gauge going down. It was leaking from one of the joints in the manifold. Luckily I have around many rubber seals (o-rings) of various sizes. So I disassembled the hole manifold and applied o-rings with grease to any joint/fitting. Problem solved. While I was disassembling it I noticed something really dangerous. The fitting that connects the air tank to the manifold was wobbling left and right. Now I cannot think of what would happen if that thing will suddenly detach with the full tank under 8 bar of pressure. DANGEROUS Manufacturing process really below standard. I have never seen a high pressure related piece of machinery being held together with cheap glue. I lost 50 minutes to disassemble the manifold and applying rubber seals. By looking at the job they have done, I wouldn't rely on their warranty also. Very soon I will replace the tank seal too, it is quite scary when I think about it.

  • Great little compressor

The compressor arrives in a sturdy box, well packaged and protected. It comes with a UK plug and a Euro quick-release connector air line outlet. There are two pressure guages, one showing tank pressure, the other line out. Not sure I actually need two, but it doesn't hurt. Usual red pull switch to start it. Not too noisy in operation and charges the tank up quickly. Very little leakage when full, which is nice. The tank empties quite quickly: if you are pumping up car tyres, taking a 215/60R15 tyre from 20 psi to 30 psi will use the whole tank up, so its much easier if you can leave it connected to the mains. Its only a 6-litre tank, so that's to be expected, and not a criticism in any way. Build quality seems pretty solid. The plastic casing is a non-brittle plastic and feels robust. The fittings are all decent quality: drain plugs work smoothly. Takes up a lot less floor space than my old one (25l), charges quicker. Does exactly what I wanted.

  • Great little compressor

Used this compressor to spray 55m of fencing and nail gun about 20 pieces that had broken. I did originally buy a water trap, but this was faulty, not the compressor. I ended up just putting some oil down the tubing instead. When spraying the compressor is nearly constantly on, but this was expected with a 6l unit. The nail gun got about 4 nails before switching on. I used 50 psi for spraying and 90 for the gun. All great. Couldn't get the accessories from same company unfortunately, had to buy separately.

  • Good Value

Good value for money not too noisy when running easy to move around great for small jobs. Only think I don't like is power cable a bit too short.
