Brilliant for a 96-year-old!
An excellent solution, replacing a rollator for use in the house, as it enables meals to be moved from kitchen to living room without spills, while also being used for general movement about the house. The brakes are not particularly useful, as with the brakes fully on, it still slides on a carpet, but this is not causing a problem. Also, the brake cables had a tendency to catch on protruding items auch as cupboard door handles, but this was easily solved using cable ties to attach the cables to the trolley frame. Great idea, but...
Already had the Stolley Trolley without brakes and really pleased with it. Excited to see one with brakes for added stability for elderly parent. The brakes lock on but the wheels are so smooth that the trolley simply glides over a carpet or tiled floor. Did not impede forward motion at all. Handy Trolley, Sturdy.
Easy to assemble and set up, soon had mother zooming around the house. Nice and sturdy, and looks to be quite durable. Brakes are quite stiff to operate for an old person but will probably loosen up with use. freedom on wheels
I bought this for my husband w ho has great difficulty walking around the house. Previously he had used a two wheel walker which he had to lift over the rugs and although we had a fitted tray over the handles it was hard work for him to manoeuvre himself from kitchen to lounge. Now he can walk quite smoothly as the wheels on the trolley are quite large and roll over the edge of the carpet smoothly. Also he has the added security of brakes which are invaluable to an unsteady person. I thoroughly recommend this trolley and my husband is thrilled to be able to get about more easily. An extremely useful and sturdy trolley.
I love my trolley and now can't imagine how I managed without it. It adjusted to my required height and the brakes are very useful. One tip I would like to give is to wrap a small towel or foam fabric round the handles to make them softer on the palms. It turns very easily and is very sturdy.
