Does the job
I am quite pleased with this cover, which I bought to replace an existing Brabantia cover. The foam backing on it is a bit thinner than I thought, but it adds a bit extra to the existing foam cover. It was a bit fiddly to put on and took two of us to do it, but once on it is OK. I think the plastic disc on to which the cord is wrapped and tightened is a good idea, and the cover hasn't worked loose. Yes, I am happy with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought this Brabantia Ironing Board Cover to replace the existing one purchased in Jan 2017. I notice Brabantia are stating a 12 month guarantee on this item. As the old one only lasted 9 months before it disintegrated I have only given 3 stars. The cover is well made and a very easy and effective fitting system keeps the cover tight. It will only work really well when fitted over the special felt under layer. Smooth operation
Cover was delivered as promised, but didn't fit it immediately. This is the second cover we have purchased, the original cover was supplied with our Brabantia ironing board, 8 years ago. We have replaced it only because there was a small tear in the old cover. The new cover took only 5 minutes to fit and tension using the accessories provided. Not suitable for all
This is a good quality product but only suitable if you already have a decent thickness of foam on your ironing board.
