Easy way to install rear camera
Most rear cameras for dash cams are mounted on the rear screen. A cable needs to be threaded through the head lining, but then there are problems accomodating an opening tailgate. This rear camera simply plugs into the front camera, yet the images recorded are very good. The camera was easy to install. I plugged the power supply into the cigarette lighter socket, and threaded the cable behind the front door rubber and then the headlining, so there are no dangling cables. I paid less than £72 for this Nextbase 222X system, which I think is good value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought this because I recently had an accident where I wasn't at fault but the other driver contested. If I had this in the car I could've proved it. Good clear picture with the ability to read numberplates thanks to the 1080p recording. Easy to use too. Great wiring kit means it's long enough to go round and be easily hidden from view using the supplied tool to pop trims open. Wonderful dash cam
Was looking for another nextbase dash cam but wanted one with a back camera to. And the one i wanting was bit more new so i choose a reconditioned one and it working okay just have to get a memory card for it.
