Great Thermostat if you do not have MESH WIFI network
I love Honeywell T9 Thermostat, it is sexy and love the big number ( temperature ) on the LCD screen. Love the Geofencing, it works perfectly, going to find out the Sensors after going to purchase one or two of them in the future. The only negative about this product, it has trouble to connect to my MeshForce M3 WIFI system. It seems like it has trouble to deal with dual band WIFI system. The tech support is not maintained by Honeywell, but by Resideo. Did not get much help from them. Very disappointed on Resideo's Tech support.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The T9 Solved My Thermostat Needs
Switched my Honeywell T5 with the T9 and solved my thermostat dilemma! The temperature sensor for the T5 is imbedded in the unit and mounted in the hallway of my home, therefore setting the whole temperature of the house. I had considered the Ecobee 3 but would have had to rewire the thermostat unit - which looked like a more complicated task. I did my online research via YouTube and found that I could remove the T5 housing and simply place the T9 on the existing Honeywell wiring unit. Installation took less than one minute. I purchased two sensors - one for the master bedroom and one placed in my family room - which made the biggest difference! The sensor detect both temperature and motion to see if the room is occupied. The programmable T9 lets you select which room or rooms you’d like to emphasize heating/cooling and will accommodate up to 20 sensors. Programming the T9 thermostat is both easy & intuitively simple to figure out to set your schedule. The best offering for the Honeywell thermostat is the App which allows for geofencing to warm or cool your home without pushing a button - before you get there!!! The App also allows you to make temperature adjustments from the convenience of your phone. The Honeywell T9 is the easiest to install & program at an easily affordable price! Best decision I’ve ever made to switch to the T9 - it balances out your heating cooling needs with easy programming! Excellent product, could use revision on setup.
This is our second Honeywell digital thermostat (last was sold with our house) and we love the upgraded features in the new T-9. The only issue, which I had on both the T-9 and T-5 was during initial setup. I did not see an option for heat pump. On both occasions, after scratching my head for a few, I went into the settings and stumbled onto the additional option for a heat pump. This setting is required to control the valve in a heat pump, otherwise you will end up blowing hot air when the a/c is on. I think that there should be a distinct option for heat pump in the initial setup, not something you have to set after configuration.

This is a great looking thermostat. Personally think it's nice than the Nest. Very easy to install and program although the backing /mounting plate is small so be prepare to patch your wall if coming from a larger thermostat. Great thermostat for the modern world!!!!!
Great thermostat keeps house regulated evenly. Nice if your out and want to turn down temp remotely. I like the fact that I can keep this t9 at a lower setting than old Honeywell and the house feels warmer. I would recommend this thermostat on feeling comfortable alone. Not sure if it saved gas yet as I'm waiting on the bill, but all around like it.

Great Thermostat for the price.
Easy to install. Worked like a dream. Was able to hook up with WIFI and now I can control the temp from anywhere. Winter time you can set it to be cooler when your sleeping and bring the temp up before you get up. Just got it and Don't know who it will do in the summer time.
