Effective.
This was bought specifically to glue foam padding into a carbon fibre freestyle kayak. It worked. Other bonding agents didn’t (we tested first, so no harm done, other than wasted time and money). No chemical interactions or refusal to adhere to either material (carbon or foam). The stuff mixes very easily and spreads well - a butter knife or plastic spatula will do the job. We used duct tape to hold in position, weights to maintain pressure and left it completely alone for 24 hrs. It is fairly expensive for a small amount. We required most of 2 packs and would probably have slathered it on more generously if we hadn’t seen early on that we wouldn’t have enough to complete the job if continued that way. Important to reiterate: It worked. The kayak has been out on the water for a total of 6 hours and no part of the foam is coming loose. Recommended. Unlike so many things this does what it promises to do.

I am a homebrew radio amateur and often repair diecast boxes to reuse. This has been with araldite in the past.I find that your Marine Weld keys better to the metal, sets harder to give a very clean finish using electricians insulating tape as shuttering and you get about twice as much for your money!

Purchased to repair damaged waterfeature which has bee achieved £ 100%.Its the exact colour match to the slate stone on rockery & waterfeature.Heatwave has flaked off paint on one waterfeature & exposed different coloured fibreglass beneath.Have colour matched damaged areas by using product not as a glue but a paint on seal to great effect.

Excellent product
I use this as pretend welding, I warm the tubes in hot water, then when mixed put in a syringe. Then I weld by squeeze,,pull,squeeze, pull along the line where i want the weld. It's very effective on the aluminium model Ribs that I build. It helps to scratch the contact area.

I repaired the base of my skis with this. I cut out the damaged part of the base and used this to glue in a patch. Skis not tested yet, but it seemed to do the trick. Chose Marine grade epoxy because of the cold and wet conditions that skis have to endure.

Used this glue to repair fibreglass slate effect water feature damaged by frost.Saved me having to purchase another which cost £350. Also this waterfeature was incorporated into a slate rockery so would have been a pain to remove. The glue not only bonded excellent ,waterproof - but also was exactly some slate colour as feature stone & waterfeature so completely unnoticeable repairs.
