The handle is perfect for those with "problem hands/desterity". The handle is not just ergonically shaped, it is soft on the hands. Makes mashing so much easier. Just beware of any steam on your knuckles - usually it would be the side of your hands with other mashers, and it comes as a surprise the first time around.
