Good quality substrate
I have used coconut before but it varies in quality sometimes its all dust and fibre which is messy and dries very quickly. But this is much much better! Good even size pieces no dust or bits, retains humidity better and looks good, and bits don't go everywhere when I get the snakes out or spot clean. I am very happy with it and will be using it from now on.

I lost a lot of baby leopard geckos last year using vermiculite, so a friend told me to use hatchrite which I change too half way through the breeding season, but it did not make any difference I still lost just as many.
