A fine compact DC adapter with good delivery of regulated DC volage & current
This Eagle branded switchmode plug-in type PSU is well built, compact, lightweight and provides pretty tight selectable DC voltages (uncal DCVolts, open[test RL=20ohm]measured;3.26[3.19]/4.55[4.47]/5.07[4.97]/6.31[6.21]/7.52[7.35]/9.11[8.92]/11.96[11.70]) & current delivery with a range of popular 2 pin power conn adapter choices with -/+ polarity options. Overall, a great adapter with all-round general* devices' use. *Further notes: As with PSUs with switchmode topologies, there will be varying degrees of (annoying)spike & HF type emi present within the DC supply output(s) that may also be (RF)radiated as well, since the majority of these compact units do not have sufficient metalized screening within the casings to prevent this. In most applications, these emi emissions are not an issue for end-use devices. However, where there are low level (mV levels) analogue(e.g. audio FX pedals) with high impedance circuit elements within their design that are prone to this type of emi pickup noise. Recommendation here is to assess use to ascertain suitability. If problem found with this emi, then PSU needs either better screening design(if radiated type)and/or better internal DC/HF filtering. Failing this, then replacing with a good old-fashioned designed linear PSU to get low(er)interference. The downside of this is less power efficiency, usually poorer DC o/p regulation & LF mains hum ripple and of course the weight & relative unit cost!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as advertised but seems OK
First point to note is that the brand supplied is Daewoo not Eagle, the latter I have bought for years and have been pleased with their performance. If this works as well, that's fine, but whilst companies self brand generic products... and sell them at different prices... it needs to be correctly advertised. This is the third Daewoo power supply now purchased... all previous ones have been branded Eagle... the casing is different, as are the accessory connectors, but it all seems OK so far! ...just this little question of clarity of advertising that needs to be addressed!
