The wheels on my bike go round and round...
I was after a cheap wheel to keep my elderly Raleigh Firefly on the road and this was the cheapest I could find (delivery included). My expectations weren't particularly high, however, I'm really pleased with the purchase. The wheel arrived in true with all the spokes tensioned, the freewheel screwed on without any drama and after fitting the tyre/tube/rim tape from my old damaged wheel it slipped into the frame like a hand into a glove. Now that I've had the chance to put a few miles on it I'm happy to report that it's a perfectly good wheel. It's not the flashiest or the lightest that money can buy but it seems sturdy enough and the unbranded hub spins as freely as more expensive examples I have fitted to my other bikes. If I was a pro rider who gets paid to jump bikes off cliffs and who values lightweight performance over all other attributes then I wouldn't buy this wheel. As a middle aged bloke who bought a 20 quid mountain bike off eBay for afternoon pootling along the canal path and who needed a cheap wheel to keep said bike going, I'm absolutely delighted with the purchase and would buy another in a heartbeat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Suitable packing
Wheel is ok for the money but sent to you in a plastic bag ! Being as there is no tyre fitted there is a great chance of rim receiving damage. Wheelnuts had poked through bag so again vulnerable to damage. Shame really as mentioned it is not a bad wheel for the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect replacement for my 30 year old mountain bike
I broke the axel in the rear wheel of my 30 year old mountain bike I’ve been using as my daily commute since covid hit. This wheel is a perfect replacement. It arrived 2 days after purchase and a simple swap of the cassette, wheel tape, inner tube and tyre made it ready to use. It’s made to a high standard. The chrome is good. Cheap, poorly packaged, noisy hub, axle threads damaged.
Poorly packed, axle threads damaged, hub noisy. Waited ages for it, packaging does not protect the axle threads so vulnerable during transit/delivery. Spun the wheel and surprised the hub was noisy as it was 'new'. Sadly, the wheel was not for my bike (a friend had her back wheel stolen and needed her bike to get to work) so I let the noisy hub go and I managed to carefully thread the axle nut off and on. Didn't bother getting in touch with the supplier, as they hadn't been very useful up to now, and she needed the bike working.

Good quality wheel
