Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is not what you think. Contrary to appearances, it isn't an attempt by Square Enix to create the game with the world's longest title. It is, in fact, the first entry of the legendary Dragon Quest series on the Wii - one built specially for Nintendo's home console. So, things kick off in the town at the foot of the Avalonia Castle. There, a young man going by the name of Blade has been living a quiet life, patiently waiting for his sixteenth birthday to roll around so he can take the Walk of the Worthy, a trial of strength that all young men must take to find their place in the world. Blade must take up the sword (with a name like Blade, what else was he going to do?) and pass the test to take his place amongst Avalonia's warriors.
