Lighting up time on the railway
Well, this is easy to fit. No wiring problems and does the job asked of it. In fact I have lit a Pullman observation coach very happy looks really good. The plus's side is the coaches do not flicker and run smoothly no drag. I pull 6 (12 wheel) Pullman's, the loco has no change of speed on the curves now. This is not a cheap extra so I have only done this in the most used coaches. But hey the look great all lit up, you can see the passengers smiling as they pass by. I do think this is a worth while job to do as detail looks so much better when you can see the coaches better. The batteries are cheap and the LED's should last forever, changing a battery is very simple.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but expensive
Nice lights add realism and another dimension to a model for evening and nights scene. Battery power is great for DC (analogue layouts) as lights don't turn off when the train stops at a station and don't take any power from trains running on track. Doesn't flicker either and easy to turn lights on and off with any magnet as well. Battery can be easily accessed and swapped if needed. Fiddley to fix circuit board as screw is tiny. Battery is hidden under seating. Circuit board and LED lights are hidden inside roof, but if in a break coach place at opposite end from the guard compartment otherwise circuit and wires can be seen through large back windows. Great to see details inside a coach but expensive.
