  • Well researched with a fantastic collection of rare photographs

Was my favourite railway line and traveled on it many times as a child. So well used no-one expected it to close so it was largely ignored by books and film alike in favour of other lines obviously vunerable to Dr. Beeching and his axe. By the time it did, it was too late with the track and infrastructure ripped up with indecent haste. Since then, little has appeared on film or in print. Now at last, a definitive and well researched in-depth record of this much loved and much missed line in 3 volumes.
