Okay for the price.
Initially it appears to be flimsy and the metal is thin ( about 1mm) but when assembled it is okay, it is essential to fix it to a wall in my opinion as I wouldn't put weight on it without securing it from falling. The shelves are made from 5mm hardboard type material and seem to be adequate for purpose. Taking into account the purchase price my opinion is that you probably wouldn't expect more for your cash, I think that they are okay for most domestic storage application.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good value but slightly flimsy MDF shelves
Overall, the shelving is lightweight shelving and, due to pricing, is very good value for simple shelving. It has the benefit of being two blocks of shelving, able to be stacked, gives options should your requirements change. It's fairly easy to assemble, although the metal rails can be tricky to locate in the slots, due to tolerances in the slots. The centre rails help to support the middle of the shelves. The advertised "solid MDF shelves" aren't very thick, and are quite flexible. But, provided that the majority of the weight isn't located to the left or right of the centre, but distributed across the shelf, it should be ok in most cases. I will be securing my shelving to a wall, to ensure that it doesn't rock or suffer due to long-term stresses in the vertical supports.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much better than I expected.............
Wanted some racking shelves and this were the cheapest I could find! I was a bit worried about the quality, but they were much better than I expected. Assembly was pretty easy (you will need a mallet of some type to put them togethert), although the instructions could have been a touch better. I think they look good. I'm using them in my office. Cheap and cheerful
Mine came with few boards damaged, instructions are useless, very cheaply made not real metal, very sharp use gloves or cut your fingers, easy to put together but you have to bend, flex, adjust to get everything in place. Good value for money
Whilst good value for money, they are light weight and you ought to plan to fix them to a wall to prevent toppling and provide greater stability. A re-design of the clip system by making one lug longer than the other would make them easier to construct, and by folding the clips once inserted you can prevent the components separating whilst you struggle with the next part of the assembly. Don't be put off with these caveats, the shelves work well in my garage and are probably holding greater weight than their design suggests. I am quite content.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor quality material and structure. No instructions.
This was the most disappointing thing I have bought from ebay.Hence its rapid return.It was made of flimsy poor quality material.Having put one joint together when putting the next joint together the original one pulled apart.. Cheap. Flimsy. Works.
Very cheap. Very flimsy. The strength comes from weight being placed on it. The first was tricky to build (the instructions are appalling but there is a good video of how to build-watch it), the second was a doddle. Tip: bend the tabs over and up to help secure them when building it. It'll do the job for not much money. Not sure how long the galvanisation will take to succumb to rust or how long the thin MDF shelves will last but good value for money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
