I purchased this to see if it would soothe my dogs rear after visits to the groomers,it seems like she has some kind of soreness and itching when she comes back, apparently this is razor burn or sensitivity to the razor. I applied this just once, and she didn't turn to bite her rear half as much, after a 2nd application, she didn't rub or scratch at all,the ointment just completely cured her. It doesn't look very nice, and smells even worse, but if it eases my dogs usual discomfort it's well worth it. I would definitely recommend this ointment.

No doubt this ointment is effective for injuries but I found the smell was quite unacceptable. After using I couldnt tolerate the smell on my dog. This may be the ingredient use, but feel it would be more acceptable as a eucalyptus type smell. Sorry to say that I felt the need to throw it away.

We have been using this product for a long time,we go camping a lot and always take the dogs with us.this is perfect for all the scrapes they get into.but best of all if you put a tiny dot on a tick they shrivel up and fall off no worry about getting the jaws out .wonderfully stuff I thoroughly recommend it .

The cream smells of cold tar its not unpleasant. Stops my dog scratching once I've applied it. The tub should last quite a while as you don't need to use much. Very good value .
